WASHINGTON CO. APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD MEETING TUESDAY

  

Washington County’s Appraisal District Board of Directors will meet Tuesday to discuss their current budget.

Following a financial report and public forum, the Board will receive notice of 2018’s appraised value report.  They will potentially approve using $24,571 of 2016-2017’s Budget Carryover for a pictometry reserve.  Pictometry is a patented imaging software process that maps pixels of a digital land image to actual geographic coordinates.

The Board will also discuss the use of $15,000, currently set aside in retained funds for vehicles, for a computer backup system.  The Board will then hear a Chief Appraiser report, before going into executive session.

The Board will meet next Tuesday at 10 a.m., at the Brenham ISD Tax Office on 1301 Niebuhr Street.
