NATIONAL AQUATIC WEEK AT BLUE BELL AQUATIC CENTER

National Aquatic Week kicks off today at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center.

The Aquatic Center has events planned throughout the week, with different themes.  Aquatic Supervisor Tammy Jaster says this is a week chock-full of activities.

Jaster says the week is extremely important in order to promote water safety.

Guests will have to pay for admission, but month passes are offered, with up to six people on a single pass.  Jaster also says openings for swimming lessons and Camp Cascade are still available.

Admission will run $5, with children under 3 at $3.  For more information about National Aquatic Week, contact the Aquatic Center at 979-337-7246.

Our sister station, KTEX 106 will be broadcasting live from the Aquatic Center today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Trail Boss Troy and Holly Ryder will be there in the KTEX Country Cruiser.  Be sure to look for the Morning Express, with the Wagon Wheel of Prizes.
