STATE REPUBLICAN VICE-CHAIR TO ADDRESS LOCAL PARTY

  

The vice chair of the Republican Party of Texas, will be guest speaker at the Republican Club of Washington County’s monthly meeting, Tuesday night.

Alma Perez Jackson, will speak at the Blinn Student Center Banquet Hall at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Jackson was elected vice chair last month at the party’s state convention in San Antonio.

Jackson, the 2013 “Volunteer of the Year” in Senate District 26, has been active in the Republican Party since 1987.

A group social will begin at 5:30 p.m.  Dinner will be served at 6:00, followed by the program.

The meeting is open to the public.  Anyone wanting a meal is asked to contact WCRepublicanClub@gmail.com or call 979 525-3167.

The meal cost is $10 for club members and $15 for non-members.  Meal reservations must be made by 5 p.m. Sunday.

Anyone planning to attend but doesn’t want a meal is also asked to contact the club to ensure there will be adequate seating.
