FAYETTE CO. DEPUTIES ARREST MAN FOR FIRING INTO RESIDENCE
A La Grange man has been arrested after firing multiple gunshots into a residence.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call on Sunday around 3:45 p.m., reporting someone shooting a firearm and striking the caller’s residence off of Jackson Road near La Grange. Deputies C.J Lehmann, Marc Bennett, and Sergeant Ron Naumann were dispatched to the scene, where they were shown the bullet damage and told where the shots might be coming from.
Deputies found the party responsible, 35-year-old Juan Francisco Ramirez of La Grange, who admitted to shooting his handgun at an old pickup bed on his property. The man claimed he did not realize the bullets were going through the truck bed and into a residence.
Ramirez was charged with Deadly Conduct, and taken to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
