BRENHAM F.D. CALLED TO FIRE AT INNOCORE FOAM TECHNOLOGIES

  

Fire units were called upon to assist with a fire at Brenham’s Innocore Foam Technologies building Friday morning.

The Brenham Fire Department received a call around 9:20 a.m., reporting a fire at the building located on 1200 Rink Street.  When BFD members arrived, they found Innocore employees removing smoldering foam buns from the building.

Upon entry, they found one of the foam buns on fire, at the top of the stacked buns.  Units gained access to the top of the stack and used two hand lines to extinguish the fire.

The fire department was on scene for approximately three hours, with no injuries to members.  A few Innocore employees were treated for smoke inhalation, but they were all stable and later released.
