ANTIQUE ROSE EMPORIUM FALL FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND

  

This weekend, the Antique Rose Emporium in Independence is hosting its 2018 Fall Festival of Roses and Heritage Rose Foundation Conference.

Starting tomorrow (Friday) at 10 a.m. and running through Sunday, the Emporium will be giving free presentations on how to plant and grow roses.

Owner Mike Shoup says the free event will offer quite a bit for plant lovers.

 

There will also be refreshments offered, as well as the fragrance gallery, where people can smell a variety of roses.

Shoup says the Festival is about letting people know it’s not just the spring where people can go out and garden.
