CHAPPELL HILL HOSTING VETERANS CELEBRATION AT HISTORICAL SOCIETY MUSEUM

Chappell Hill invites the community to come honor all of those who have served at this weekend’s Veterans Centennial Celebration.

Sunday, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Chappell Hill Historical Society Museum, guests can view World War I exhibits and hear war stories from various historians.

Chappell Hill Historical Society President Joel Romo says the exhibits showcase how the Great War affected Washington County.

Romo says there will also be musical performances throughout the afternoon.

The Chappell Hill Historical Society has partnered with Brenham Heritage Museum to present this program.  The event is free to attend, and there will be refreshments offered.

The museum is located on 9220 Poplar Street in Chappell Hill.  For more information, call 979-836-6033, or visit https://chappellhillhistoricalsociety.com.
