NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATIONS AROUND THE AREA
If you’re still looking for New Year’s Eve plans, there are plenty of places in the area getting ready to ring in 2019.
Brenham Elks Lodge is getting ready for its New Year’s Eve Dance, beginning at 8 p.m. tonight (Monday). The Risky Liver Band will be on hand providing entertainment, and there will be a celebratory toast and breakfast buffet at midnight. Brenham Elks Lodge can be found at 400 East Germania Street.
The Kenney Agricultural Society Hall will be hosting the David Lewis Band tonight. Lewis will be the DJ from 8 to 9 p.m., with the band playing until midnight. The hall is located at 444 Hall Road in Bellville.
Meanwhile, the Harmonie Hall in Shelby will count down to 2019 with the Anthony Moreno Band. The band will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight, and black-eyed peas will be served at midnight. Harmonie Hall is located at 509 West FM 389 in Fayetteville.
The Round Top Rifle Hall will have the Lost Cause Band playing at its New Year’s Eve Party, starting at 8:30 p.m. Complimentary sliced ham and turkey will be provided, and free cornbread and black-eyed peas will be served at midnight. Guests are asked to bring treats for the community snack table. The Rifle Hall can be found in Round Top, at 710 FM 1457.
