UNITY THEATRE OPENS “CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF” THURSDAY NIGHT
Curtains open tonight (Thursday) on the first production of the year by Brenham’s Unity Theatre.
The Tennessee Williams classic “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” will take place on Unity’s Main Stage beginning tonight, through February 17th.
Executive Artistic Director Kate Revnell-Smith, who also co-directed this play with Paul Gaffney, says the drama is full of intense emotions, telling the story of a dysfunctional 1950’s family.
The production does contain mature subject matter, and is not suitable for all audiences.
Through February 17th, performances will run at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays, and 4 p.m. on Sundays.
Tickets are $27, with student tickets priced at $15. All unsold seats are available 15 minutes before the performance at $15 each. Tonight’s special preview performance will cost $19 per seat.
