The Brenham Cubs look to pick up their second straight district win tonight when they host Katy Paetow.

The Cubs (16-8/1-6) defeated the Panthers, 9-1, Tuesday evening for their first 19/5A win of 2019.

Originally, tonight was scheduled to be 'Veterans Night' at Firemen's Park.  However, due to scheduling conflicts, local veterans will be honored prior to Tuesday night's game against Rudder.

First pitch tonight is set for 7:00.  The game can be heard live on KWHI AM 1280/FM 101.7/kwhi.com beginning with the pre-game at 6:40.

The Brenham Cubettes hit the road tonight for a must-win game at Magnolia West.

With just five district games left, the Cubettes (15-9/3-6) find themselves three games out of the fourth and final playoff spot.  Magnolia West is one game ahead of the Cubettes and two games out of a playoff berth.

If Brenham is to qualify for the playoffs they need to win all five remaining games and get some help from some other teams.

First pitch at Magnolia West is set for 6:30.
