WASHINGTON CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATING THEFT OF SURVEYING EQUIPMENT
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is searching for suspects in a recent theft.

Deputies took a report on April 1st concerning the theft of surveying equipment from the 6700 block of FM 332.
According to a release, there are no known suspects at this time, but a possible suspect vehicle was seen in the area during the time of the theft. The vehicle was described as a black minivan, and it sped off as the victims of the theft approached.
Sheriff Otto Hanak said he’s “not quite sure if the party responsible for this theft even knew what they were stealing”. He said the Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate the pieces of equipment and return them to the owner as soon as possible.
