BRENHAM’S BAYLOR SCOTT AND WHITE INTRODUCES CARDIAC REHAB CLINIC
Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Brenham has opened a new cardiac rehab clinic.

The new clinic offers rehabilitation services for those needing weekly appointments to improve health and regain strength after a heart attack or other form of heart disease or surgery.
At the clinic, patients are part of a customized outpatients program of exercise, education and counseling. This combination looks to reduce the risk of future heart problems.
Patients will undergo exercises promoting heart health, learn how to manage risk factors and live healthy, and receive counseling on how to identify stressors and how to reduce them.
Vice President of Operations John O’Hearn said Baylor Scott and White wants to “meet the needs of Washington County”, and is glad these new services can do that. Chief Medical Officer Michael Schlabach said this will allow the hospital to “make healthcare more accessible to Washington County’s residents, workforce and visitors”.
Patients can be seen on Wednesdays and Fridays in the cardiac rehab clinic.
