BRENHAM “MOVIES IN THE PARK” BEGINS THURSDAY

The first installment of the City of Brenham “Movies in the Park” kicks off tomorrow (Thursday) with a float and flick at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center.

The popular summer series will present five “PG” movies over the course of the summer, shown at Hohlt Park and the Aquatic Center.

Community Services Specialist Crystal Locke said the series, now in its 10th season, begins Thursday night with “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation”.

In the movie, Count Dracula and company participate in a cruise for sea-loving monsters, unaware that their boat is being commandeered by the monster-hating Van Helsing family.  The film showing is sponsored by The Kids Klub of Brenham’s 1st Baptist Church.

Locke said in order to be in the pool during the movie, people need to be using a floatation device.

Presenting Sponsor for “Movies in the Park” is Frontier Waste Solutions.  KTEX-106 and KWHI 1280 are also proud supporters of the summer series.
