GOLFERS OF ALL AGES PREPARING FOR “PUTT 2 CURE MS” AT HORSESHOE JUNCTION
It’s time to polish off that putter and practice your skills on the green, as the 12th Annual Putt 2 Cure MS event is set for next Tuesday at Horseshoe Junction in Brenham.
The tournament raises funds each year for the MS150/National MS Society. Event organizer Michael Brinkmeyer says these help support the ongoing research efforts towards finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.
At the tournament Caddies-for-hire walk around the course offering their services, and creating general mischief. Brinkmeyer says they’re the highlight of the evening.
Registration is open for $100 for a team of up to four players, or $125 at the tournament. Food will be catered by Brenham Catering Company.
Check in on Tuesday is at 6 p.m., with a shotgun start at 6:30 p.m.
Hole sponsorships are available. For more information, to register or donate, visit http://putt2curems.com.
KTEX and KWHI are both proud sponsors of the event, and will be broadcasting live Tuesday night from the course.
