SIX PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

Six people were sentenced in District Court Thursday last week and were sentenced by Judge Carson Campbell.

Keosha Renee Moore, 19 of Brenham, was sentenced to 5 years in prison for Theft of Property from the Elderly and Tampering with Physical Evidence.  She also had her probation adjudicated from a 2017 injury to an elderly or disabled person case and was sentenced to serve 20 months in state jail.  Moore was arrested along with another female in January of this year for stealing an automobile on Prairie Lea Street in Brenham.

Garrett Bednarsky, 24 of Conroe, had his probation revoked for a 2017 conviction and was sentenced to serve 200 days in state jail.  Bednarsky was sentenced to probation in 2017 for  Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Kenna James Stevenson, 45 of Navasota, was sentenced to 4 years’ probation for Driving While Intoxicated with Child under 15.  He was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine and perform 120 hours of community service.  Stevenson was arrested by Brenham Police in September of last year at 1:30 AM.  He reportedly had 7 children in the vehicle with him at the time.

Three people were sentenced for possession of a controlled substance:

Sebastain Lee Arnold, 28 of Mesquite, was ordered to serve 4 years in prision.

Bershard Alford, Jr., 25 of Houston, had his probation adjudicated and was sentenced to 10 months in state jail.

Kayla Lorraine Mulanax, 29 of Brenham, had her probation revoked and was sentenced to 9 months in state jail.
