NUMEROUS BRAZOS VALLEY RESIDENTS DEALING WITH POWER OUTAGES

  

Thousands of customers across the Brazos Valley experienced power outages overnight.

Power lines and transformers across multiple counties were damaged as a result of Sunday night’s storms and heavy rains.

Members in the service areas of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, San Bernard Electric Cooperative, Entergy, BTU, and College Station Utilities have all reported lengthy outages, with many of them still without power.

Hundreds of travelers were stranded at Bush Intercontinental Airport overnight due to the heavy storms.  Several flights were canceled or faced lengthy delays.

Crews are working to restore power to all those affected.
