The board will look at a single-family residence at 1807 Harrell Road, owned by Carmen and Martha Cruz.  Property to the north and west were recently purchased by Brenham Wholesale Grocery, who is currently rezoning the property to develop a convenience store.

The two are asking the board to allow a 43-foot lot width for their property, where a minimum 60-foot width is typically required.  In addition, they are asking to allow a 5,160 square foot lot area where a minimum 7,000 square foot area is required.

If the variances are granted, the property will need to be replatted, but Brenham Wholesale plans to include their tracts in the plat document as the company plats the adjacent tracts to the north and west.

Staff have looked over the request and are recommending approval of the variances.

The board will meet Monday afternoon at 5:15 p.m., at City Hall.
