A Brenham-based guitar stand company is gaining traction nationwide.

Zither Music Company announced a partnership with Taylor Guitars and Gibson Guitars during the National Association of Music Merchants summer convention last week in Nashville.

The company will make guitar stands branded with the Taylor and Gibson logos and send them off to the nationally known manufacturers, afterwards heading to dealers and customers.

Zither Music Company founder Tony Meeks says he was approached by the two companies to make the stands for them.  Meeks expects this partnership will result in much more exposure for his company, which is soon moving to a new and bigger location on Highway 36 South.
