LOCAL MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG POSSESSION CHARGE

A 19-year old Brenham man has been arrested after drugs were found in his car.
Police pulled over a vehicle driven by Harold Howard just after 10:00 Thursday night in the 300 block of Highway 290 West.
According to authorities, there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
A search turned up 8.4-grams of ecstasy tabs that tested positive for methamphetamines.
Howard was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
