COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET TUESDAY

  

Washington County Commissioners will discuss an interlocal agreement concerning capital murder cases, when they meet Tuesday morning.

The commissioners’ court will discuss an agreement with Lubbock County, in west Texas, to provide court-appointed council for individuals charged in capital murder cases.

Also at Tuesday’s meeting, the court is expected to approve application for Homeland Security Grant Program; approve a resolution for Federal Off-System Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program for local bridge projects; approve a contract for ultrasound devices and software for the local EMS; and approve the reappointment of County Judge John Durrenburger and Commissioner Joy Fuchs to the Brazos Valley Council of Governments Board of Directors.

County Commissioners meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse in downtown Brenham.
