BELLVILLE WOMAN KILLED IN SINGLE-VEHICLE CRASH NEAR KENNEY
DPS troopers are continuing to investigate a fatal accident in Austin County Sunday night that killed a Bellville woman.
According to DPS Sergeant Stephen Woodard, the crash occurred between 9 and 10 p.m. on Loop 497, north of Kenney. Accident reports say a northbound 1991 Jeep Wrangler went off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver of the Jeep, 47-year-old Mindy Moses, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Moses, a 1990 graduate of Bellville High School, worked at and ran the Kenney Store.
No other details on the accident were released.
