NEW STYLECRAFT HOMES LEAD LIGHT SEPTEMBER PERMITS
New homes made up just over half of a light month of permits issued by the City of Brenham in September.
A total of 20 permits were issued by the city in September, worth $700,770. That is down from last September’s 25 permits worth $1,342,439.
September’s largest permit was issued to Stylecraft Builders for a new residence on Muscadine Trail, for $105,138. Two other permits were issued to Stylecraft for new homes on Rootstock Road, one for $86,580 and the other for $75,720.
Stylecraft’s three homes were part of five total permitted in September, the other two being manufactured homes. New home permits totaled $358,358 in September.
One notable permit in September was one issued to the Brazos Valley Brewing Company for $75,000, to finish out the tap room at its location at 206 South Jackson Street.
Through the year, the city has issued 216 permits, totaling $35,009,045. To this point last year, 212 permits were issued, worth $29,596,833.
