BRENHAM FIREFIGHTERS PUT OUT SMALL FIRE AT INDEPENDENCE COFFEE CO.
The Brenham Fire Department responded Friday morning to a fire at a local coffee store.
Just before 10 a.m., firefighters were called out to Independence Coffee Co. at 2815 Highway 290 West for a fire coming out of the smoke stack.
When firefighters arrived, they found moderate smoke coming out of the stack. Units laddered the roof and extinguished a small fire inside the stack.
Damage was contained to the stack, and no injuries were reported.
