The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office in Washington County is hosting a food handlers class.
The course will be held on Monday, January 12th in the conference room at the Washington County Extension Office, 1305 East Blue Bell Road in Brenham. Registration opens at 2:45 p.m., and the class will last from 3 to 5 p.m.
Participants will learn basic food safety practices, including personal hygiene, cross-contamination, and time and temperature control.
The course is required for all food service employees in Texas and is accredited by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
