WORLD CHAMPION SPEED READER TO SPEAK AT BRENHAM ROTARY CLUB MEETING
A world-renowned speed reader will be the guest speaker at an upcoming meeting of the Rotary Club of Brenham.

The public is invited to meet Howard Stephen Berg as he speaks at the club’s meeting January 7th at noon at the Cannery Kitchen, located at 314 East Alamo Street in Brenham.
The Guinness Book of World Records published Berg’s claim as the world’s fastest reader in their 1990 issue, the only year they distinguished this honor. He claims to be able to read over 25,000 words per minute, while writing over 100 words per minute.
Berg’s accomplishments have attracted attention from both the media and academic community, enabling him to appear on over 1,000 radio and television programs while spurring feature stories in major newspapers across the country.
Lunch will be provided at the meeting.
