Donald Reese was hired for the position formerly held by Lowell Ogle, who retired from the city in October to take a new position with the Lower Colorado River Authority.
Reese comes to Brenham from the City of Victoria, having spent the past 20 years there serving in various capacities, most recently as the Director of Public Works.
Reese, along with his wife, DeDe, and sons Tanner (14) and Cooper (12), say they are excited to become part of Brenham and look forward to immersing themselves in the community.
Reese will begin his work with the city on January 13th.
