BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC ASSAULT

A Brenham man has been arrested on a pair of charges after a disturbance, Christmas night.
24-year old Ty Scott Spivey was taken into custody just after 9:00 p.m., after police were called to the 400 block of West Lubbock, just west of South Day Street.
According to police, they arrived to find a disturbance in progress. Spivey was arrested and charged with Assault Causes Bodily Injury to a Family Member and Interfering with an Emergency Request for Assistance.
Spivey was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.
