MAIN STREET BRENHAM TO PRESENT “RECOLLECTIONS: AN ORAL HISTORY OF BRENHAM” SUNDAY
Anyone fascinated by the history of Brenham is invited this weekend to hear stories from those who helped shape the town into what it is today.
Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m., the Barnhill Center will display “Recollections: An Oral History of Brenham, Volume One”.
The collection of memories and imagery from Brenham’s past has been put together by Main Street Brenham, who in 2015 began recording recollections of Brenham elders in order to preserve an oral history of a time long gone.
Tickets are $10 in advance at the Visitor Center, at 115 West Main Street in Brenham. Tickets are $15 the day of the showing.
