LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR SPRING EGG ART WALK IN DOWNTOWN BRENHAM
Today (Monday) is the last day to sign up for downtown Brenham’s annual “Spring Egg Art Walk”.
Artists of all ages are encouraged to enter the art walk, which will decorate downtown Brenham with beautifully designed giant eggs. The art walk will have both student and adult categories.
Just under $1,000 in cash prizes will be awarded in the contest, including $200 for the Grand Prize from Kieke Egg Farm. Cash prizes will also be awarded for Most Creative, Most Votes, and Judges’ Choice for students and adults.
Other sponsors include Brunmillers Soapworks, Board and Brush Creative Studio, The Pomegranate/Funky Art Café, Brenham City Councilmember Susan Cantey, the Canyon Chick, and Scrubs N Stuff Boutique.
Main Street Brenham will provide the wooden egg cut-outs for entrants, free of charge. Artists can decorate their egg in whatever creative way they wish, including attaching objects to it. Eggs will need to be on display by March 20th.
