BJHS FLOW TIME STEAM CLASS TAKES 1ST AND 2ND PLACE AT CITIES IN SPACE COMPETITION
Several Brenham Junior High School students recently competed and took home high honors in a space competition in Austin.

Brenham Junior High’s Flow Time STEAM class participated in the Cities in Space Competition, sponsored by STEAMSPACE Education Outreach, on February 28th. In the Emerging Technology – Middle School category, Brenham Junior High received first and second place.
The first place team consisted of David Carranza, Harry Pham, Brandon Schultz, and Dylan Taylor, while the second place team was made up of Jonathan Nelson, Kelton Richardson, and Connor Schlottmann.
STEAMSPACE Education Outreach places special emphasis on science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) education and project-based learning to create the scientists, artists, engineers, and innovators of tomorrow.
By working with the leading aerospace and education industries to support explorative education of lunar, Martian and Free Space colonization, STEAMSPACE Educational Outreach supports a diverse and all-inclusive educational collaboration.
