FIFTH COVID-19 DEATH REPORTED IN BRAZOS CO.

  

The Brazos County Health District has confirmed a fifth person has died from COVID-19 in the county.

The fifth death was a Brazos County woman in her 70s who was hospitalized.

Health district officials also announced today (Friday) four newly confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases to 72.  Eight people are currently hospitalized.

According to officials, ten people have now recovered from the virus.  A recovered case is defined as someone who has been fever free for 72 hours without fever reducing medications, and it has been seven days after the onset of symptoms.

  1. This is terrible on so many levels. I’m okay with social distancing, but many stores aren’t making it easy for people to purchase necessary items. People need Clorox and toilet tissue, but these items are out of stock online and only available in stores. In most cases, the stores are usually sold out therefore people are making a blank trip to the store for nothing. Items should be available to purchase online because that promotes social distancing. HEB is doing a great job, so major thanks to them for helping the elderly. We can’t find hand sanitizer anywhere because Amazon is only selling to hospitals or government agencies. The United States should move as a whole because we are in this together. They need to help people get their food and medicine and then enforce a Stay At Home Order. Doesn’t matter if this is the United States of America. We need to get serious and do what is best for the people. Too many options and people shouldn’t have options at this point.
