CITY OF BRENHAM TO PROVIDE EASTER EGG HUNT AT HOME KITS
The Easter Holiday will likely look much different than normal for many families because of COVID-19, but the City of Brenham is looking to help them celebrate in the comfort of their homes.
The city is partnering with Main Street Brenham, the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County, and H-E-B to create Hunt@HOME Easter Kits, encouraging families to still celebrate Easter while staying safe and staying at home.
Community Services Specialist Crystal Locke said the idea for the kits came from the city’s past Easter Extravaganza community-wide Easter egg hunts. She said, while the current situation prevents community and church Easter egg hunts from happening, it should not stop families from celebrating altogether.
Locke said she hopes these kits can spread a little sunshine in these dark times.
Approximately 220 Hunt@Home Kits will be distributed Friday alongside the Boys and Girls Club’s Drive-Thru Food Distribution, held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the club’s site in Brenham at 1710 East Tom Green Street.
I would love to know how to enjoy this amazing opportunity with my kid and grandchild.
How can I be part of this experience to bring happiness to my love ones?
Call the City of Brenham and ask them quickly!! I’m sure they can tell you.❤️
