LOCAL POLICE ARREST WOMAN ON FAMILY ASSAULT CHARGE

A Brenham woman is in police custody after her arrest on an assault charge.
22-year old Charity Ann Tyte of Brenham was arrested Sunday afternoon after police were called to a home in the 900 block of West Alamo.
According to police, they responded to a call of a verbal argument that had turned physical.
Tyte was placed in custody for Assault Family Violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.
