BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL BAND BANQUET SET FOR MAY 19TH
The accomplishments of this year’s Brenham Cub Band will be recognized later this month at the annual Brenham High School Band Banquet.
The socially-distanced banquet, with a “Hawaiian Luau” theme, will be held Tuesday, May 19th at 6 p.m. in the Brenham High School parking lot. The program will feature a year in review, presentation of awards and scholarships, and senior recognition and high school memories.
Senior band members will park on either side of the main driveway of the high school at 5:15 p.m. at appropriate distances. They will have a table out for attendees to drop off cards or gifts. Seniors will be parked in every other space and are asked to remain in their own space.
Other students will arrive between 5:30 and 6 p.m. and will park in the lot. They are asked to stay in or by their cars.
Families coming to the banquet are encouraged to bring a meal to have in their cars, and can decorate their cars with signs or posters.
All attendees are asked to follow social distancing guidelines and refrain from congregating.
KWHI will broadcast the event live beginning at 6 p.m. on AM 1280, FM 101.7, kwhi.com, and on the KWHI mobile app.
