RAIDERS COULD PLAY GAMES IN SAN ANTONIO; EL PASO
The Las Vegas Raiders could play some games in Texas later this year.
A Forbes report says coronavirus-related issues are delaying construction on the club's new Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Two workers on the project have tested positive for the disease.
The report says some choices for alternative playing fields under consideration are at Sam Boyd Stadium on the UNLV campus, the Alamodome in San Antonio and the Sun Bowl in El Paso.
The New Orleans Saints played three “home” games in 2015 at San Antonio’s Alamodome after Hurricane Katrina.
