A&M ATHLETICS REPORTS FIVE CASES OF COVID-19
Texas A&M Chancellor John Sharp has revealed that the athletic department has had five positive cases for the corona virus. All of the cases are asymptomatic.
Texas A&M Director of Athletics Ross Bjork says they have identified who those affected have been around over the past two weeks and then tested all those individuals and monitor any symptoms.
Bjork says they monitor those symptoms twice a day. Temperature check and deliver food to their apartment to make sure they have the proper amount of nutrition and then test them.
At the end of that quarantine period they will test them again and make sure they are healthy.
Bjork said that not only were student-athletes tested when they returned to campus, but so were staff including himself and head football coach Jimbo Fisher.
