BRENHAM MAN SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS ON FAMILY VIOLENCE CHARGE

  

 

A Brenham man has had his probation revoked and is headed to prison.

28-year old Adrian Gutierrez was sentenced to five years behind bars after his probation was revoked on a 2014 conviction for two charges: Continuous Violence Against the Family – a Third Degree Felony; and Assault of a Family Member/Impeding Breath/Circulation, With a Previous Conviction – a Second Degree Felony.

Also Thursday in 21st District Court:

27-year Bradley Wayne Hartshone of Waller, was sentenced to 20 months in prison for a 2017 case of Theft of Property/Less than $2500, with two or More Previous Convictions – a State Jail Felony.

54-year old Ben Tripp White, of Waller was sentenced to one year in prison for Attempted Possession of a Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony.

42-year old Christopher George Norwood of Houston was sentenced to nine months in jail for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle – a State Jail Felony.

22-year old Cedreon Detroy Johnson of Houston was placed on seven years’ probation on two charges:  Possession of a Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility and Tampering with Physical Evidence – both are Third Degree Felonies.  He was also fined $1000 and ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.

  1. I see Other people in the news charged with the same as Adrian Gutierrez , But I never see that they had a trial or a conviction. But then their last name is a little more well know in Brenham, I guess it depends on what your last name is , who you know, and how much money you can afford for an attorney, Not saying that this young man should not go to jail, Just saying that if he is sentenced to jail time, Why are some people not sentenced to jail for the exact same charge?

Probably because there were several charges and not just one next time go to the courthouse do some research and find out the real reason before u start throwing insults or start being up race it’s time for people to start taking responsibility for their actions and quit using race as a crutch

      1. If you take the time to read my comment you will see I didn’t mention Race One time, That was you would brought it up, I was pointing out that people with prominent last names dont seem to ever get convicted , Have a Blessed day
