PUBLIC TO GET UPDATES ON COVID-19 AT TEXAS A&M

  

Officials at Texas A&M say they will provide weekly COVID-19 case updates to the public.

The weekly reports will detail the number of cases self-reported by students, staff, and faculty members through an online portal.

Wednesday the university confirmed 250 students have tested positive since February, while 122 faculty and staff members have also tested positive.

The university says administrators are working with health experts on a daily basis to evaluate the situation on campus and that any decision to reduce the number of classes taught in-person would be based on numerous factors.
