12TH ANNUAL SHANE HANCHEY INVITATIONAL OCTOBER 4TH IN GIDDINGS
Rodeo action is coming to Giddings next month for the 12th Annual Shane Hanchey Invitational.
Some of the best calf ropers around will meet October 4th at the Lee County Sheriff’s Posse Arena for the open calf roping invitational. Introduction begins at 11:30 a.m., with the event beginning at noon. Around 80 contestants are expected to participate.
There will be over $80,000 in payouts, and the winner will receive a Joey Sonnier custom saddle.
Calf ropers can enter into the invitational by calling or texting Hanchey to get their name on the list. Entries are being accepted through September 25th.
