POLICE IN SOMERVILLE & CALDWELL INVESTIGATING ARMED ROBBERIES
Authorities in Burleson County are investigating a pair of armed robberies at two convenience stores Monday night.
Somerville Police were first called to a convenience store on Highway 36 in Somerville just before 10:00 p.m. They say three masked men in hoodies held a store clerk at gunpoint and demanded cash.
About an hour later, Caldwell Police say they responded to a second convenience store on Highway 21 where another clerk was also held at gunpoint.
According to police, no employees working at the time of the robberies were physically injured.
Anyone with information about the suspects or robberies is asked to contact Somerville or Caldwell Police.
Meanwhile, College Station Police are also investigating a pair of home armed robberies, involving three masked gunmen, that also occurred Monday night, shortly after the Burleson County robberies.
