BRENHAM WOMAN CHARGED WITH THEFT FROM LOCAL STORE
(Washington Co. Jail)
A Brenham woman is charged with trying to steal items from a local department store.
Wednesday, just after 5:00 p.m., local police were called to the Brenham WalMart, on Highway 290 West for a suspected theft.
At the scene, police arrested 35-year old Rebecca Hayes of Brenham, who they allege tried to leave the store with unpaid merchandise.
Hayes wed charged with Theft and taken to the Washington County Jail.
