The $2,500 grant was presented to the Brenham ISD Education Foundation courtesy of the BBVA Foundation.  The donation, presented at the bank’s Brenham Banking Center, will be used to help purchase Chromebooks for each student to aid remote learning efforts.

BBVA USA College Station-Bryan City President Amos McDonald said Brenham ISD and its staff are doing “an incredibly admirable job of adapting to this unprecedented situation.”  He said BBVA is honored to help the school district “get the technological resources needed for uninterrupted, undiluted instruction.”

This is the fifth grant the bank has given the district since 2016, totaling $11,000 in donations.
