CUBS HOST RAIDERS IN FIRST-PLACE BATTLE
First place in District 13/5A is on the line, as the Brenham Cubs (4-2/4-0) host Leander Rouse (5-1/4-0) at Cubs Stadium.
The Cubs are coming of back-to-back blow out wins: 47-3 over Bastrop and 41-0 over Connally. The Raiders fought past Elgin 35-21 and rolled over Cedar Creek, 55-31.
Cubs’ head coach Eliot Allen says he and the team are anxiously looking forward to the contest…
The Raiders were 1-9 last year (4-16 the past two years), but Allen says some outstanding athletes have helped them turn things around…
