HUNTER’S WIFE WEEKEND NOVEMBER 14TH IN CALDWELL, SOMERVILLE
Anyone not headed to the deer lease next weekend is invited to downtown Caldwell and Somerville for the annual Hunter’s Wife Weekend.
Presented by the Burleson County Chamber of Commerce, the event will take place Saturday, November 14th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will have participating businesses offering samples of wine and snacks along with sales.
This year’s theme is “Mariachis & Máscaras,” and featured entertainment will be the Aggieland Mariachi Band.
Ticketholders will be given a passport that grants access to sample drinks and snacks while shopping. Anyone who visits all participating locations and gets their passport filled out will be entered into a grand prize drawing at the Old Post Office in Caldwell at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $25 and will include the passport, along with a souvenir wine glass and mask. Glasses and passports can be picked up the day of the event starting at 10 a.m. at Home and Ranch Real Estate, located in Caldwell at 200 East Buck Street.
Transportation will be provided. Businesses will be enforcing social distancing inside their shops.
