FORMER LOCAL EDUCATOR & BUSINESSMAN GERALD KRAUSE DIES AT 77
A long-time Brenham educator has died.
Gerald Krause died this past week after suffering from a lengthy illness. He was 77 years old.
Krause spent 36 years in the Brenham Independent School District as a teacher and principal.
He and his late wife Dolly also owned and operated Krause Paint and Decorating for many years.
He was also instrumental in the design and construction of Krause Elementary School, which was named in honor of his family’s long-time involvement in local education.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at St.Paul’s Luther Church.
