WASHINGTON CO. FARM BUREAU EARNS TOP AWARDS
The Washington County Farm Bureau earned several awards at the recent virtual caucus meeting of the Texas Farm Bureau District 11.
The statewide public relations award for large markets had three in the district: Washington County placed first, followed by Waller and Fayette Counties.
The secretaries award was for the percent of renewals of members that placed the Washington County Farm Bureau’s secretaries as top in the district.
The highest percentage of increased renewals placed Washington County first, followed by Matagorda and Fayette Counties.
The highest renewal percentage of members gained and the highest member gain put Washington County in second place in the district.
The Texas Farm Bureau has a 20 year continuous membership gain with over 533,000 member families. The Washington County Farm Bureau contributed to that statewide number in 2020, attaining a membership gain for the year.
Awards will be delivered to the county after the Texas Farm Bureau’s annual meeting Saturday in Waco.
