OVER $218,000 DONATED DURING FOOD FOR FAMILIES FOOD DRIVE
Hundreds of thousands of dollars and pounds of food were donated Wednesday during the 25th Annual Food for Families Food Drive.
Over 114,000 pounds of food were collected at six donation sites during the drive, put on by the Brazos Valley Food Bank and KBTX.
Meanwhile, over $218,000 has been raised in donations thus far.
Donations were collected Wednesday in Bryan, Caldwell, Franklin, Hearne, Madisonville, and Navasota. Donations will stay in the county they were donated in.
Monetary donations are still being collected online at www.bvfb.org.
