LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDS TO ELECTRICAL FIRE AT RESTAURANT
Minor damage is reported following an electrical fire at a local restaurant, early Wednesday morning.
Brenham Firefighters were called out to the Jack in the Box at 400 Highway 290 West, just before 1:00 a.m.
They found that a small fire was coming from a gas line going to the grill. The grill was pulled away from wall and the valve for the gas was turned off and the fire was extinguished.
No other actions were needed. The City of Brenham Gas Department made location and checked the gas line. The grill was Red tagged by the department.
