LOCAL MAN SURRENDERS ON ASSAULT WARRANT

A Brenham man is in police custody after his arrest on warrants last week.
Friday, Brenham Police were contacted just before 2:30 a.m., that a Brenham man was in Waller County and wished to turn himself in on an assault charge.
According to police, 41-year-old David Carranza of Brenham was wanted on warrants for Assault Family Violence/Impede Breath and Injury to a Child.
Waller County Sheriff’s deputies took Carranza into custody and turned him over to Brenham Police.
