MAN CHARGED WITH DRUG POSSESSION DURING TRAFFIC STOP

A late Tuesday night traffic stop in Brenham has led to the arrest of a Somerville man on drug charges.
Just after 11:30 p.m., police pulled over 49-year-old John Conwill of Somerville in the 1100 block of North Park St.
According to police, Conwill was driving while an invalid license. He was also reportedly in possession of methamphetamines, marijuana and possession of dangerous drug and drug paraphernalia.
Conwill was transported to the Washington County Jail.
